ORGANIC FACEMASKS.

I've always struggled with finding the perfect organic & cruelty-free face mask that would clear my face from all impurities. I realized that store bought face masks have SO MANY CHEMICALS in them that actually make our faces breakout even worse than before. I started researching DIY face masks and quickly discovered that all this time, the simple ingredients I had in my house were the key to having flawless looking skin.

Check out my DIY face masks that I use below:

I usually use two of these DIY face masks every three days to ensure a healthy glow; the first is for exfoliating and the second is for soothing finish.

STEP 1:

Exfoliation:

In a small cup pour 1/4 of baking soda, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, & 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, & 2 tablespoons of coffee grinds. Mix the concoction together and you have your very own exfoliation face mask! ..... YES, it's that easy!

I usually put this face mask on and let it sit for about 20mins, then massage my face while rinsing it off in room temperature water. You will feel the exfoliation process taking place by the coffee grinds deeply massaging your pores. The lemon juice and baking soda act as natural exfoliants and restore your skin cells. After rinsing this face mask off, make sure your face is dry before using the second step to the DIY face mask.

STEP 2:

Healthy & glowing skin:

In a small cup you will add turmeric powder and olive oil (I don't measure these two ingredients out, I feel that you will just know what kind of consistency you want this face mask to be). After the two ingredients are mixed together, gently place on your face for another 20mins. Turmeric has an incredible way of targeting pores and clearing your face from any rashes or break outs. Your skin will feel replenished after using this one!

It's so important to take care of our skin, even in our teens and early twenties, because what you do now affects our future, and what we will be looking like 40 years from now. I don't know about all of you, but I definitely don't want to have bad skin years from now, that's why I am so rigorous with my skin routine. Trust me, it will pay off in the end! :)
