Nugget Recipe.


  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats

  • 1 can garbanzo beans (DO NOT DRAIN)

  • 1 teaspoon of salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic (crushed)

  • 1/2 teaspoon onion (crushed)


  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

  2. Spray a baking pan with non-stick spray

  3. Place the oats into a flour like texture. Transfer to a large bowl.

  4. Drain the chickpeas over a bowl or measuring cup. Place the chickpeas into the food processor; add the salt, garlic, and onion powder; and pulse until crumbly.

  5. Divide the chickpea mixture into 12 equal portions and shape each one into a nugget. Coat each nugget completely in the panko and place on the baking pan.

  6. Bake until crispy, 15 to 20 minutes. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
